We know by now that I am all about the statement piece. Few such pieces, however, 
also double as trans-seasonal wardrobe staples capable of being both effortless yet 
striking all at once. 

Cue this cabled and fringed rarity by the ever-reliable Karen Millen. This bold 
hand-knitted creation is in fact a sweater dress that I’ve tucked up and turned around 
because I can’t do anything by the book, but that’s also the genius in these kinds of 
pieces – they can be tucked, tied, belted, stretched, layered and moulded however 
you wish, helping you through even the toughest of outfit dilemmas. 
A true hero if I’ve ever seen one.
